ECO Council
We are an ECO Green Flag school!
The Eco Council is made up of representatives from classes in the juniors, Mrs Fisher and Miss Lindop.
Over the course of the year we will lead campaigns in the school to avoid waste, encourage recycling and save resources such as water and electricity.
Another role of the Eco Council is to raise awareness within the school community and the importance of looking after our environment.
The children have developed an Eco Code which is in each classroom to encourage the school to all do our bit.

- Can you put your rubbish in the bin?
- Or try to Reduce, Reuse and recycle
- Care for others and the environment
- Occasionally walk to school
- Don’t waste water, energy or light
- Everyone in our school can help
We are supported by Transition Buxton as part of our efforts to be environmentally aware. We are signed up to Plastic free Buxton which is a pledge to review our use of plastic (especially single use) and to reduce our environmental impact.
